This year Jahorina, Visegrad, Trebinje and Banja Luka attracted the largest number of tourists, said the Minister of Trade and Tourism in Republika Srpska, Maida Ibrisagic-Hrstic.

During the first 10 months of 2013 there were 215, 848 visits and 571, 051 overnight stays in these locations, which is a 6% increase in visits and 4 % increase in overnight stays in comparison to last year.

Hrstic added that in the coming year focus will be put on the formation of concrete tourism products for specific target groups in order to increase the number of tourists in all municipalities and therefore the turnover in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Given that foreign tourists are big fans of active rest and the natural environment, Srpska has great potential in these areas, added Hrstic.
