China and Singapore occupied the first two places on the rang list.
There are 79 countries ranked on the list. Serbia took 45th place in PISA testing, it was published on an OECD sub-site dedicated to this testing. Of the countries of the former Yugoslavia, Slovenia (21) and Croatia (29) are ahead of Serbia, with Montenegro (52) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (62) taking the lower positions.
Estonia, Canada, Finland and Ireland are the best ranked countries from West (5-8 places).
The United States ranks 13th, the United Kingdom at 14, Germany at 20, France at 23, and Russia at 31st.
The bottom of the list was occupied by the Philippines, Dominican Republic, Kosovo, Lebanon and Morocco.
Last year, 79 countries or economies participated in the testing (Hong Kong, Macau, Chinese Taipei and Kosovo were ranked separately).
PISA testing is a program of the Organization for Economic Co – operation and Development (OECD).
