Bosnian citizens will be able to travel to Qatar without a visa after Bosnia’s Security Minister Dragan Mektic and Qatar’s Prime Minister Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani reached an agreement at a meeting in Doha on Wednesday.
They also agreed that Bosnian police officers will participate in the security preparations for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022.
Mektic and Al Thani, who is also Qatar’s Interior Minister, discussed intensifying cooperation on security as well. They emphasised a need for transferrer of experiences, which will be conducted through joint training for Qatar’s and Bosnia’s police forces.
