Latin American countries are the happiest in the world, confirmed an analysis conducted by start-up company “Jetpaca” on a 150 million photos posted on Instagram.

The more smiles, the higher the country was ranked.

First place went to Brazil, followed by Nicaragua, Colombia, Bolivia and Costa Rica. Among the top ten, the only country not in Latin America is the Philippines.

The happiest European country is Macedonia, in 11th place, while B&H ranked 53rd out of a 124 countries.

Croatia come in 90th, Serbia 29th, Montenegro 102nd and Slovenia 103rd.
