Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Zeljka Cvijanovic expressed gratitude on behalf of the Government to Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic for the support received from the Serbian Government and president for important infrastructure projects in Srpska municipalities.

“That’s something we will continue to do in the future. We always find it important to have Serbia’s presence via our officials and that’s what it’s been like so far when it comes to these important matters – the day when we are mobilising our entire public, when we want to show solidarity and say we stand all together by those who need help. I think the most beautiful event is when we have a chance to do it together and call on everyone to solidarity,” Cvijanovic told the press in Banjaluka following a meeting with the Serbian prime minister.

The Srpska prime minister says it is a great pleasure to have a chance to host Brnabic here.

“I consider this a crown of our talks about how our governments can take part in such humanitarian activities together, apart from the activities we perceive as regular day-to-day business,” said Cvijanovic.

She added that many such projects had begun.

Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated that Republika Srpska would always have a friend, partner and family member in Serbia.

Brnabic expressed pleasure to be with her friends in Banjaluka together with two other Serbian ministers, because, as she said, it was important to show friendship, partnership and solidarity.

“It feels good to finish 2017 like this, the year in which the Serbian Government and the Srpska Government had a joint session. We continue our joint projects,” said Brnabic.

She recalled that the Serbian Government had adopted a conclusion to donate EUR250,000 to the Solidarity Fund for diagnostics and treatment of diseases, conditions and trauma of children abroad, making a conclusion that it was yet another confirmation of friendship and solidarity between Serbia and Republika Srpska.
