Chairman of the BiH Presidency Mladen Ivanic said that BiH’s path to the European Union is tied to economic reforms and that European officials expect a strong continuation of engagement on economic reforms.
“The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini has clearly stated that she expects strong engagement on economic reforms to be continued. This is the only argument they may have in order to offer us candidate status,” said Ivanic and stressed that the government of the entities need to ensure this.
