Delegation of Federation Council of Federal Assembly of Russia will visit the Republic of Srpska on Tuesday, April 24th.
Delegation will talk to President Milorad Dodik, and it is foreseen the President of Council of Federal Assembly of Russian Federation, Valentina Matvijenko, will address the National Assembly of the RS at a formal session.
President of National Assembly Nedeljko Cubrilovic convened a session of Parliament tomorrow to determine term of formal session.
Valentina Matvienko, as the President of Council of Federation, of the upper house of Federal Assembly of Russian Federation, has been in place since September 2011, and before that she was St. Petersburg Governor. She also served as deputy prime minister of the Russian Federation. She is a permanent member of the Security Council of Russian Federation.
Federation Assembly, Parliament of Russian Federation, is the representative and legislative body of the Russian Federation. The federal assembly consists of two houses – the Federation Council and the State Duma.
