Chairman and Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik informed German Ambassador to BiH Christiane Hohmann that he would not be able to meet her request for a farewell meeting since he did not receive her in inaugural visit.
“In addition, as the ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to BiH, you have worked to the detriment of the Serb people and Republika Srpska for the past three years, thus against the BiH too and its order stipulated by the Constitution,” Dodik said in a letter sent to Hohmann.
He said Hohmann was expected to show more understanding and diplomatic sensitivity as a representative of a country with a heavy historical burden in this region.
“However, your public appearances and diplomatic activities during your stay in Sarajevo have been politically coloured, subjective and diplomatically inappropriate about what I will also inform top representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany,” said the chairman and the Serb member of the BiH Presidency.
Dodik stressed that he highly appreciated the efforts of the Federal Republic of Germany to contribute to the process of reconciliation and the building of lasting peace throughout the Balkans with its experience and assistance, but he regreted to point out that she was not an adequate representative of such Germany.
