Representatives of the Kotor Varos City Administration and the NGO World Vision today signed a memorandum of cooperation in the implementation of four projects aimed at helping children from socially vulnerable families.

The projects in question include “Child Sponsorship”, “Improving the Quality of Education and the Development of Life Skills”, “Support for the Development of the Economic Sector” and “Child Protection and participation”, which will be implemented over the next five years and funded by World Vision.

These projects are under the wing of the Development Program in the Vrbas areas, which, apart from Kotor Varos, is being realized in Knezevo, Celinac and the rural areas of Banjaluka.

World Vision has significantly helped develop agriculture and infrastructure projects and has aided in the education of children from socially disadvantaged families in the municipality of Kotor Varos.

3,500 children from 15 central and 51 regional schools are involved in the mentioned projects.
