NATO is a defensive military-political alliance and it has never been an enemy of the people of Srpska, said the Polish ambassador to BH Andrzej Krawczyk.

He pointed out that Poland would be very pleased if BH and Serbia joined NATO, as it guarantees peace and security for all member states, but that it is inevitably BH’s decision.

There is a misconceptions in BH and Serbia that the accession to NATO would mean teaming up against Russia, said Krawczyk, adding that this is not true.

He recalled that Poland had two aggressors – Russia and Germany, but that it’s now building peaceful and friendly relations with both nations, especially with Germany, Poland’s ally within NATO.
