Performance of the “Iskon” Ethno-Group for the Orthodox New Year in Banja Luka

Ethno-music concerts will be held at the port of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Banja Luka on Monday, January 13th, and at midnight a prayer service is planned.

The program will start at 8.00 pm when the “Veselin Masleša” Folk Dance and Song Ensemble will perform, the City Administration announced.

From 9 pm to 10 pm, a performance by the City Tamburitza Orchestra is planned, followed by a concert by the most famous ethno-group from Serbia, “Iskon”.

It is envisaged that this ethno-group from Subotica will perform Serbian traditional tunes and ethno music until 11.30 pm.

At midnight, a prayer is planned for the Orthodox New Year, that is, the New Year according to the Julian calendar.
