The construction of the South Stream pipeline through Srpska is a crucial issue for the overall relation in B&H, said the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik.

He added that this project will not incur any damages to the Federation of B&H and accused FB&H of having ill intentions against Srpska.

Halting the construction of the pipeline would deal a hard blow to Republika Srpska’s economic development, said Dodik.

The FB&H Government earlier claimed that the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Council of Minister of B&H, regarding cooperation in the gas and electricity industries, does not comply with the obligations assigned to B&H by the Energy Community Treaty.
