Republika Srpska’s foreign trade turnover comprised of 4.84 billion dollars in 2013, while the import- export coverage was 56.9%, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics.

The value of exports was 1.75 million dollars, while the value of imports added up to 3.08 million dollars. The value of exports increased by 12.6 % and imports by 4.8 %, in comparison to 2012.

Regarding the intended use of the products, intermediate goods had the highest export value, a total of 647.93 million, while the largest percentage of growth in exports was registered in durable consumer goods, 26.2 %.

The most imported commodities were intermediate goods, with a value of 927.59 million dollars, while the largest percentage growth of imports, in the amount of 14.9 %, was registered in capital goods.
