The team of Antiguan Racer, in which our Lejla Salihović, the player ŠF Respekt from Sarajevo and one of the four ambassadors of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the project Football For Friendship, won in the final of this year’s tournament, which closed this year’s project in Madrid. The final game was played on Saturday, at the Plaza Mayor, the UEFA Champions League in the center of Madrid, ahead of the UEFA Champions League final.
“I am very proud because we all played well in the team, we were hanging out and we were not even burdened with victory, so it’s even more beautiful to win the trophy. I am happy because I have presented Bosnia and Herzegovina and the School of Football Respect in the right way, “Lejla said.
Anja Gačić, Slavko Roguljić, Lejla Salihović and Samra Osmanović represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in Madrid. These four children were ambassadors of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the global project “Football for Friendship”.
The International Children’s Social Programme Football for Friendship has been implemented by Gazprom since 2013. The key values promoted by the programme’s participants are friendship, equality, fairness, health, peace, devotion, victory, traditions, and honour.
