The German Development Bank (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau – KfW ) has approved a loan to Elektroprivreda B&H in the amount of 65 million EUR for the development of the Wind Park “Podvelezje”, within the framework of the development cooperation between Germany and B&H.
The total expenses of construction are 71.80 million EUR, announced the Office for Communication of Elektroprivreda B&H.
Construction of the wind farm “Podveležje” with 16 wind turbines and a total capacity of up to 48 MW with possible annual electricity production of 100 GWh, is planned on the plateau Podvelezje located 10 KM from Mostar, at 760 meters above sea level. It has been recognized as a project that provides support to environmental preservation and energy efficiency.
