A heatwave has hit the entire region on Monday and at 2.30 pm, 36 degrees Celsius were measured in Banja Luka.
This is an official record of the air temperature, but some of the surfaces have grown so hot that they have twice as high temperatures.
The highest temperature was recorded on the monument to Ban Tisa Milosavljevic.
Nearly 76 degrees Celsius were measured at the monument, 75.9 to be exact.
