Chair of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Milorad Dodik walked out of a Presidency meeting with a delegation of the Peace Implementation Council /PIC/ Steering Board on Wednesday because the flag of Republika Srpska was not displayed there.
At the meeting, Dodik welcomed all members of the Steering Board and explained that under Article 3 of the State Constitution, BiH is made up of Republika Srpska and the Federation of BiH and that he wants Republika Srpska to be represented by its flag, in accordance with the Constitution.
Dodik said that, given that the symbol of Srpska, one of the two equal entities in BiH, was not displayed, there were no conditions for holding the meeting, which was why he walked out and went back to his office.
