Sarajevo, September 9 – Republika Srpska Prime Minster Zeljka Cvijanovic and FBiH Prime Minister Fadil Novalic agreed today in Sarajevo an action plan for implementation of the Reform Agenda, on which the BiH Council of Ministers should also agree.
Cvijanovic said that a joint initiative on administrative taxes in BiH, namely for business registration and shortening of deadlines for issuing VAT numbers, was defined at a meeting today.
She said that an initiative to amend the law on excise taxes was also agreed, which will be sent to the Steering Board of the Indirect Tax Authority.
“The initiative pertains to petroleum derivatives for road construction,” Cvijanovic said, adding that the initiative could include excise taxes on beer and cigarettes.
Novalic said at a press conference that the action plan for implementation of the Reform Agenda stipulates tasks, goals and deadlines.
He stressed that this part of the action plan pertains to the years 2015 and 2016 and includes 48 goals and activities.
