Deputies of the Assembly of the Town of Doboj unanimously support the construction of a factory for processing of fruits and vegetables, which will be built by investors from Azerbaijan on the site of the former barracks in Sevarlije.
The factory will be modeled on the former factory Bosanka, while the agreement was recently signed by representatives of the Town of Doboj and the company Benkons from Azerbaijan. The city administration is committed to paying for the rent and landscaping as well as to providing connections to infrastructure.
Adviser to the mayor of Doboj, Nebojsa Maric, said that the investor has committed to investing more than EUR 30 million, adding that the construction will last for two years after which production will begin within four months.
Mari explained that the factory initially plans to hire 100 people from the Doboj region.
