Banja Luka is the largest city in the Republika Srpska and its administrative center.

Kastel: The Kastel Fortress is located in Banja Luka and represents the oldest historical monument in this city. It was built on the left bank of the Vrbas River, between the present-day City Bridge and the confluence of the Crkvena River. In the past, Kastel served as a strong military fortification, protecting the Vrbas Valley from enemy attacks, primarily from the north.

Ferhat-Pasha Mosque: This mosque is one of the most significant Islamic religious sites in Banja Luka. Built in the 16th century, it holds cultural and historical importance.

Christ the Savior Orthodox Church: The Orthodox Church of Christ the Savior is an imposing structure that dominates the city skyline. Built in the Russo-Byzantine style, it is an important place for Orthodox worshipers.
