Bosnia and Herzegovina is ranked 101st out of a 184 countries in the world according to the 2014 Index of Economic Freedom which is jointly published by the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal.
From the countries in the region Albania is ranked 54th place, Bulgaria and Romania 62nd, Montenegro 68th, Slovenia 74th, Croatia 87th, Serbia 95th and Bosnia and Herzegovina 101st.
The highest ranking countries are Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Switzerland, New Zealand, Chile, Mauritius, Ireland and Denmark.
