The government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on Thursday declared a state of emergency inside FBiH over flooding.
With the declaration, all FBiH ministries, administrations and organizations, legal entities and other institutions will be at disposal of the Department of Civil Protection to make all resources available to assist the flooding-hit areas.
It was the second time in less three months the FBiH announced a state of emergency over flooding. In May, the FBiH declared a state of emergency after large part of BiH was hit by the worst flooding in some 120 years, killing over 20 people.
The new flooding was caused by quick rainfall beginning Tuesday, with streets of several major cities flooded. Some cities and towns, flooded in May, was underwater again.
