BiH Presidency approved agreement on lowering roaming

The BiH Presidency yesterday approved the conclusion of an agreement on lowering roaming prices on public mobile communications networks in the Western Balkans.

The Deputy BiH Minister of Transport and Communications /Sasa Dalipagic/ is authorized to sign the agreement, says a press release from the BiH Presidency.

The BiH Council of Ministers in a caretaking capacity two days ago adopted a proposed agreement on lowering roaming prices on public mobile communications networks in the region, which was sent to the BiH Presidency for consideration and approval.

The agreement is expected to be signed at the Digital Summit in Belgrade on April 4-5, and its implementation should start on July 1.

Roaming prices will be reduced by 80% in the first phase and will be completely abolished in 2021 in the territory of the Western Balkans, after which prices of roaming services with EU member states will be reduced.
