The Republika Srpska National Assembly adopted on Thursday a decision to accept the borrowing of EUR 10,910,796 from the World Bank – International Bank for Reconstruction and Development /EBRD/ for the additional financing of the BiH Energy Efficiency Project.
This is 40% of a total loan for BiH, which amounts to EUR 27,276,989.
The National Assembly adopted a draft strategy for improving the status of elderly people in Republika Srpska for the period 2019-2028, the aim of which is to enable healthy and active aging, restoration of family values and moral norms and development of intergenerational solidarity.
The Assembly also adopted a draft strategy for improving sexual and reproductive health in Republika Srpska for the period 2019-2029 which stipulates that the health care system enable an available and quality protection of sexual and reproductive health.
MPs also adopted a report on operations and execution of the financial plan – budget of the Solidarity Fund for Diagnostics and Treatment of Children Abroad for the year 2018, and a report for last year on operations of the Republika Srpska Children’s Ombudsman.
The National Assembly took a note of a report for last year on operations of the BiH Human Rights Ombudsman, and, at the proposal of the SDS Caucus, adopted a conclusion by which the Republika Srpska National Assembly asks the Ombudsman to forward it within 90 days a special report on representation of the constituent peoples in BiH institutions, with the focus on representation of Serbs in the FBiH and Canton governments and other institutions.
After the vote on the reviewed items of the agenda, parliamentary speaker Nedeljko Čubrilović ended the 4th regular session.
