Geologists from the London-based firm “Mineco-group” have begun the pre-investigative works to identify the stocks of the antimony mine, the so called preliminary reconnaissance of the terrain, in Novo Gorazde.
The aim of these pre-investigation activities is to prepare technical documentation in accordance with the concession agreement, explained Carapic, adding that the “Mineco-group” team of exports consists of geologists from the company from England and Serbia.
As announced earlier this year, the investigations, whose value is 4.6 million marks, will last until the 30th of June 2016, after which, if the antimony exploitation proves to be cost-effective, they plan to employ about 60 workers.
