Chicago Serbian Film Festival 2013 will be held from the 6th to the 8th of December in Chicago. Along with a large number of eminent guests, Serbia’s most popular new films will be shown.
During this festival, the public will get the chance to see feature films which have received numerous awards at festivals throughout Serbia and Europe.
The audience at the prestigious Chicago theatre “Muvico Theatre” will get an insight into Serbian culture through the following films: “Circles” Srdjan Golubovic, “Falsifier” Goran Markovic, “When Day Breaks” Goran Paskaljevica, “Ravna Gora” Rados Bajic, “Mamarosh” Momcilo Mome Mrdakovic, “State” and “The Path Strewn with Roses” Oliver Saranovic.
In addition to these titles, visitors will have the opportunity to see a few documentaries as part of the festivals additional program. All films will be screened with English subtitles which will allow the American audience to better acquaint themselves with Serbia’s cinematography and culture.
Chicago audiences will also have the privilege to vote and choose the film they liked best; the film with the most votes will receive the Audience Award.
