The Former High Representative in B&H Christian Schwarz-Schilling, said that the political crisis in B&H can only be resolved by the U.S. and the European Union working together. He added that he can’t see much progress in relation to when he was High Representative and that many aspects of society have declined.
Schilling explained that the situation in B&H will only improve when it gets a clear status as a country, stating that currently it is not administered by itself as arranged by the Dayton Agreement.
He believes that the U.S. and EU must work together and thus resolve the political and social crisis in B&H that has lasted for years, adding that Angela Merkel and Barack Obama should sit and see how to help B&H.
He stressed that B&H at the moment is in the worst situation since the 1990s and the conclusion of the war.
