Coca-Cola HBC B-H Sarajevo in its premises gathered 20 students of the first generation of a unique program of Coca-Cola summer practice called Coke Summership, selected from over 900 applicants.
The first day of the program was spent in getting to know the company, program and mentors, while learning and fun will continue through the next six weeks in which participants will have the opportunity to learn about innovative methods of doing business that have been keeping the world’s largest brand at the top for over 130 years.
Under the slogan “Happiness, enthusiasm, learning and teamwork” Coke Summership will run until the end of August. Twenty interns from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina during this time will go through a comprehensive preparation for their future careers through education and mentoring. The program represents a combination of education, which includes lectures, interactive workshops and training sessions, fieldwork and practical work on concrete projects of Coca-Cola in BiH.
Pointing out that for candidates it’s a great success that they made it through a thorough selection process – where character and attitude helped a great deal – general manager of Coca-Cola HBC BH Sarajevo Maria Anargyrou-Nikolić welcomed the new interns and said: “Coke Summership program is made exactly for you: extraordinary and ambitious young people who will, I hope, become the future members of our team and leaders who will contribute to the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina.”
Director of Sales and Franchise of Coca-Cola HBC BH Sarajevo Adnan Topić also welcomed the participants of the program. “I think that for us in the Coca-Cola this is a unique opportunity for interaction, an opportunity to learn how we can work with a new generation, the Millennials, and this will be an invaluable experience for our managers as well.”
