The completion of works on the reconstruction of the outer part of “Banski dvor” was marked last night with the concert of the world-famous music artists Stefan Milenkovic and Slobodan Trkulja, accompanied by the symphony orchestra of the Banja Luka Philharmonic.
At the same time, the presentation of the application of Banja Luka to the European Capital of Culture in 2024 was also formalized.
The President of the Republic of Srpska Željka Cvijanović attended the concert “Opposites Attract” by world famous artists Stefan Milenković and Slobodan Trkulja which was held in Banja Luka on the occasion of the completion of works on the rehabilitation of the outer part of “Banski dvor”.
The President of the Republic said in her address that the completion of works and reconstruction of Banski dvor is an example and a sign that Banja Luka is being built and is constantly developing.
“I am proud that as the Prime Minister I could effect and influence on the allocation of funds so that today we are all proud that this building glows in new colours and that it has a great significance for the cultural and social life of our citizens”, said the President Cvijanović and stressed that investments will be continued when it comes to cultural institutions and cultural life in the Republic of Srpska.
