The President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik attended the laying of the cornerstone for the construction of the new “Iskra Tela L” factory in Laktaši.
The President of the Republic pointed out that the opening of new plants of this company is an indicator that Srpska is open to new investments and that it offers a good business environment for investment.
The President Dodik said that he is grateful to investors from Slovenia, who will provide work for 500 employees with an investment of more than 15 million euros.
“It is a great resource for us and an investment of more than 15 million euros. Young people will have the opportunity to get a job in a profitable industry that offers optimal working conditions”, said the President of Srpska.
The President of the Republic assessed that it is important that investors from Slovenia and other countries continue to expand their capacities and develop production, as this is a prerequisite for the growth of exports and GDP.
“We continue to spread a good business environment, and the best ambassadors of that good business environment are precisely the people who work with us and have experience. There will certainly be other factories from those people who will notice that they have high-level support here”, it was pointed out by the President Dodik.
While speaking about foreign investments in the Republic of Srpska, the President of the Republic said that there is a problem in the world because there are few who decide to invest in new production plants in times of inflation, and stated that this is why the investment in Laktaši is a great success.
