Direct flights from BiH to Greece will be introduced in June and will last until the end of the tourist season, said the caretaker BiH Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Mirko Sarovic, and the Greek Ambassador to BiH, Georgios Iliopoulos, at a meeting held on Monday in Sarajevo.
Sarovic and Iliopoulos stressed that direct flights will also enable better communication between businessmen, says a press release from the BiH Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations.
Iliopoulos informed Sarovic of the intention of Greece to join the initiative China and 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe at the 8th summit of “16 Plus One” in Dubrovnik on April 11-12 and asked BiH to support it.
Sarovic informed the Chinese Ambassador to BiH, Ji Ping, of Greece’s intention, which was assessed positively.
At the 16 Plus One Summit in Dubrovnik BiH will present its projects, and the Summit this year also opens numerous prospects for investing and creating ties between businessmen, says the press release.
