Dodik: BiH might be functioning if it is treated as a state union

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik thinks that BiH might be functioning as a state union of three constituent peoples and two entities, but that is not possible because it is tried to impose that Bosniaks are the majority who determine what should and should not be done.

“Given that it is trying to impose a straitjacket which implies ‘you are not Serbs, you are not Bosniaks, you are not Croats’, but you are some kind of citizens among the majority are Bosniaks, and so they are going to determine what is going to be, and for that reason it is not functioning”, said Dodik to journalists in Bijeljina.

He has repeated that BiH is not a state and cannot function, but it is the state union of three constituent peoples and two entities.

Dodik has told that SNSD remains at the BiH level in ordered not to happen again, like in some earlier periods, when places were abandoned, and some others “were rushing in” which caused even greater damage.

“So we are here, but how and what is going on, we will see”, Dodik said.

Dodik, who is also the president of SNSD, has said that, after returning from Russia, he would meet with political leaders of the ruling coalition in Republika Srpska.

“I believe in the next ten days, at the end of next week”, Dodik stated.
