On the second day of his visit to China, President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik began talks with the country’s investors who showed an interest in investing in Srpska’s industry, infrastructure, agriculture, education and a few other areas.
Dodik said on Saturday that the first concrete steps towards actual investments, which are being discussed in China’s capital, could be expected next spring, when he will pay another visit to the Far East country in order to execute the now initiated agreements, the presidential official said in a press release.

“The interest of potential Chinese investors in Republika Srpska is huge,” said the president.

Dodik is taking part in an investment conference in the scope of his three-day visit to Beijing.

Before Beijing, Dodik was on a two-day visit to Saint Petersburg, where he attended the 4th International Cultural Forum and agreed a visit of representatives of Slavic countries to Banjaluka for June 2016. The event would be hosted by Republika Srpska.
