Serb member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik spoke in Budapest, on Sunday evening, with the representatives of the Serb Self-Government in Hungary.
They introduced the Serb member of the BiH Presidency about the position of the Serbs in Hungary, and on that occasion emphasized that they achieved a high degree of rights and freedoms.
They pointed out that Hungary is an example of a country where the rights of Serbs and Serbian national identity are respected.
The meeting was also attended by BiH Ambassador to Hungary Biljana Gutić Bjelica and Hungarian Ambassador to BiH Krisztian Posa.
Dodik attended a gala concert of the folk ensemble “Taban”, which is being held at the VIG Theatre in Budapest, where his adressing is foreseen.
Serb member and the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik arrived in the afternoon in Budapest. From the border with Croatia to the capital of Hungary, he was accompanied by an escort of 16 cars.
Dodik will visit the Serbian Orthodox Church in Budapest on Monday and meet with the Bishop of Lukijan of Budapest, and then go on a tour of Saint Andrew, the Serbian Orthodox Church, and the Museum of the Serbian Diocese of Buda.
The Chairman of the BiH Presidency will meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Tuesday, June 18, in Budapest.
After a working lunch, a joint press conference is planned for Viktor Orban and Milorad Dodik, announced from the cabinet of the Serb member and the Chairman of the BiH Presidency.
