Dodik: If Schmidt imposes amendments to BiH Election Law, Srpska will pass its own law

Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has said that if Christian Schmidt imposes amendments to the BiH Election Law, Srpska will pass its own election law on the same day, which will provide for the election commission of Srpska to conduct municipal elections.

Dodik pointed out that it is unacceptable to live in a country where someone imposes election rules, which are normally agreed upon by political subjects.

“In addition to him wanting to make changes to the BiH Electoral Law by a decision, he also says that if Dodik objects to it, he is stealing the elections. The Central Election Commission of BiH, which was managed by the SDS, PDP and the SDA and which determined the election results, counted the ballots from elections for the President of the Republic in `Zetra` and yet they repeat that narrative,” Dodik told reporters in Sarajevo.

He pointed out that no one in the world imposes a law by a decision.

“And then when I say that BiH like this cannot exist, they declare me a separatist. I just want to live in a constitutional country, and since there is none, I will not live in this one,” said Dodik.
