Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated Thursday in Banjaluka that the political parties seated in Republika Srpska have the majority to form the entity government.

“This is the first time that the government will be made up of the parties with registered seats in Republika Srpska, which indeed was our primary goal,” Dodik told reporters after a meeting with representatives of the Democratic People’s Alliance (DNS), Progressive Party (NS) and Serbian Radical Party (SRS).

He reiterated that the goal was to form the governmental institutions by the end of the year and that the DNS-Socialist Party-Social Democrats coalition had the parliamentary majority to do it.

DNS leader Marko Pavic has said the coalition wants a stable and strong Republika Srpska.

He fully trusts the Srpska president when it comes to the appointment of the prime minister-designate.

Pavic stressed that Republika Srpska was the first in BiH to constitute the parliament.
