An ardent fan of Partizan, Gregor Okiljevic, is travelling from Slovenia to Belgrade on foot in order to express his love for his favorite Belgrade club.
Yesterday he was enthusiastically greeted by the citizens of a small town near the capital of Srpska, Prnjavor. This stop marks the halfway mark in his 800 kilometer long journey. Namely, Okiljevic is hoping to reach Belgrade in time to cheer for Partizan in their Euroleague basketball match against Zalgiris. A day later he will show his support to the Partizan soccer team.
This 29 year old ambulance driver has always wished to support his favorite team from the stands. He has devoted this heroic trip to his seven-month old son Luka who will one day be able to tell stories of his dads walk to the capital of former Yugoslavia.
Partizan’s technical staff is preparing a special welcome for the arrival of an unusual guest, loyal fan and a man who knows no barriers.
