The adoption of amendments to the Election Law was at the top of the agenda during the visit of Ambassador Peter Sorensen to the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After the meeting Sorensen said that it is vital that the Constitutional Court’s decision on the alignment of the Election Law and the Law on Territorial Organisation of the Republika Srpska is implemented.
He added that the implementation of this decision is the absolutely essential condition for the CEC to be able to call elections on time and that the CEC has the full support of the EU.
