Felix Baumgartner, famous for his jump from the edge of space, is expected to visit this year’s World Parachuting Championship in Banjaluka, said the president of the B&H Aero Club, Dusko Grmusa.
Along with Baumgartner, Novak Djokovic is another expected visitor and a possible promoter for Banjaluka and its World Championship.
Grmusa added that the championship will be held in three disciplines; jump on goal, figurative leaps and canopy formation, which means that Banjaluka will in fact host three world championships. Grmusa further stated that this event will be the largest of its kind held in Republika Srpska.
Organizers expect 350 participants from 40 countries to visit Banjaluka in August.
