Final Forum of Football and Friendship is started today (May 28) and will last until June 2, in the weekend when the final match of the UEFA Champions League is held in the capital of Spain, Madrid.
The children will be supported by the Global Ambassador of Football for Friendship Franz Beckenbauer.
The official manifestation was opened by raising a flag in a children’s camp. The guest of the opening was young player Luka Markovic, who plays for Juventus U-19.
On June 1, the participants of the programme will visit the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final at Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid.
Anja Gačić, Slavko Roguljić, Lejla Salihović and Samra Osmanović will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina in Madrid. These four children are ambassadors of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the global project “Football for Friendship”.
Football for Friendship is an international children’s social program initiated by the Company in 2013 within the Gazprom for Children global project.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has been involved since last year when the project during the World Cup in Russia brought together 211 countries and regions from around the world.
