The Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republika Srpska, Senka Jujić, signed contracts on co-financing 16 projects from 13 municipalities from the category of underdeveloped and extremely underdeveloped local self-government units.
These are the municipalities: Ljubinje, Petrovo, Vukosavlje, Rudo, Pelagićevo, Lopare, Novi Grad, Jezero, East Mostar, Vlasenica, Berkovići, Kostajnica and Novo Goražde.
The Minister of Administration and Local Self-Government of the Republika Srpska Senka Jujić stated that today’s signing of the contract on co-financing of projects is another form of assistance to underdeveloped and extremely underdeveloped municipalities, for which KM 300,000.00 has been allocated.
“The donated funds will enable the implementation of projects related, among other things, to strengthening the role of local communities, solving problems in the field of communal infrastructure, supporting socially and materially disadvantaged persons and young people in the field of greenhouse production, procurement of ambulances and medical equipment for clinics family medicine, support for families threatened by the corona virus pandemic and the earthquake,” said Minister Jujić and appealed to underdeveloped and extremely underdeveloped local self-government units in the Republic of Srpska to apply for this type of aid this year as well.
The co-financing of projects of underdeveloped and extremely underdeveloped local self-government units aims to supplement the own sources of financing projects in the process of collecting financial resources from domestic and international organizations, domestic and foreign investment funds that finance projects of local self-government units.
