Kotor Varos has the lowest unemployment rate in Republika Srpska and thanks to foreign investments the number of employed citizens is constantly increasing. The current number of employed citizens is 4,368.
There are three foreign companies in this municipality, they employee about 1,800 workers, while the municipal government provides a number of benefits for foreign companies that decide to build manufacturing plants in Kotor Varos.
The Mayor of this municipality, Dalibor Vucanovic, said the industrial zone will soon be regulated and that investors who build facilities on this location will be provided with the infrastructure.
