Inspectors from the EU Food and Veterinary Office (FVO) have arrived in B&H to assess the health of plants in the potato sector and evaluate the fulfillment of conditions for the export of potatoes to EU countries.
From the 25th of March until the 3rd of April the FVO inspectors will visit the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Directorate for Plant Protection, the competent authorities of the entities and the Brcko District, authorized institutions for laboratory testing, specific places of production, i.e. the producers, processing and storage plants for mercantile and potato seeds in B&H and potato distribution centers.
The media and the public will be duly informed of the results of the FVO visit, read a statement from the Department of Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations B&H.
