The Government of Republika Srpska adopted the decision to accept a grant outlined by the project “Market access of small farmers in B&H/Republika Srpska and Egypt”, in the approximate amount of $400 000.
The Government accepts the funds for this project for Republika Srpska in the framework of development cooperation between the International Fund for Agricultural Development, Oxfam Italy and B&H.
According to the announcement, the funds are intended to improve the living conditions in rural communities in under-developed area of the countries participating in the grant, through the profitable participation of small producers in effective value chains, as well as enabling small farmer’s access to markets for targeted production.
The Ministry for Agriculture, Forestry and Water of Srpska is responsible for realizing this decision.
