According to preliminary data released by the Central Bank B&H and commercial courts, direct foreign investment in B&H from the 1st of January till the 30th September 2013 amounted to 411 million KM. Great Britain, Cyprus, Slovenia, Serbia and Russia were the most significant investors in Srpska.
In 2012 foreign investments in Srpska amounted to 354.3 million KM, while in the period from 2005 to 2013 a total of 3.9 billion KM was invested in this B&H entity, according to information from the Central bank and the Ministry of Economic Relations and Regional Cooperation.
The largest percentage of money was invested in telecommunications, production, banking, mining and quarrying and trade.
The most prominent investments were made in “Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske”, Oil Refinery Brod, Oil Refinery in Modrica, Lignite Mine Stanari and Power Plant Ugljevik 3.
In the period from 2005-2013, the largest amount of investments in Srpska come from Serbia, Russia, Slovenia, Austria and Great Britain, word is from the Ministry for Economic Relations.
