Japanese companies are interested in investing in B&H and could aid the development of the energy sector, said the Japanese Ambassador to B&H, Hideo Yamazaki.
Yamazaki said that there are many ways through which Japanese companies can contribute to the development of the economy in B&H . He added that Toyota, Suzuki, Sony and Panasonic have begun manufacturing in neighboring countries, explaining that companies that produce components for these large corporations could open manufacturing facilities in B&H.
B&H plans to build new power plants in the coming years, but they must meet the EU standards of environmental protection and this is precisely where the needs of the state and potential Japanese companies may coincide, said the Ambassador.
