SNSD candidate Miroslav Kodzoman is the new Mayor of Laktasi, after an early election was held in this municipality of Srpska.
Kodzoman won 8,578 votes or 55.21 percent of the vote, while his opponent from the Alliance of Change, Vukasin Vojinovic, won 6,534 or 42.05%. These are the preliminary and unofficial results of the Central Election Commission.
Zeljko Perencevic, the candidate for the Srpska Progressive Party, received 426 or 2.74% of the votes.
The outcome of this election is said to give a sneak peak to how the citizens of this municipality will vote the general elections to be held in a two weeks.
