Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik stated today in Banjaluka that the adoption of the Law on the Constitutional Court of BiH is more important for Srpska than the BiH’s European path and the European Commission’s Questionnaire.
“Regardless of what they are passing here to us and what they are doing, the Questionnaire of the European Commission is a sequence of process required for EU membership. The EU supporting such a decision-making system and method in BiH, primarily in the Constitutional Court of BiH, and existing decadence in the BiH is unacceptable for us”, Dodik told reporters.
He reiterates that both the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina are under direct administration of the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH, which, through the pressures, monitoring and influencing the courts and prosecutors in the past year, made a system with no constitutional basis even more decadent.
“Therefore, it is very clear that the Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH /OBA/, with the mediation of its top official, a man who reports directly to SDA Leader, Bakir Izetbegovic, wants to implement and model entire political system. This Agency’s aim is to delegitimize Republika Srpska, which is against the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and is for their closures, in order to agree afterwards on how these institutions should look like,” said Dodik.
Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, presented today in Sarajevo the Questionnaire of the European Commission to Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH, Denis Zvizdic, noting that it contains more than 3,200 questions.
