Manifestation for Serbian Composer in Honor Held in East Sarajevo

The event “Days of Vojin Komadina” was held at the Music Academy in East Sarajevo. As part of the event dedicated to this Serbian composer, a scientific gathering was held, attended by guests from Serbia, Ukraine, Russia, Croatia and BiH.

A member of the Organizing Committee, Master of Music Pedja Hart said that the scientific conference “Contemporary and Traditionally in Music” was launched this year and is largely devoted to the study of the work of Komadina.

– We are pleased with the response of guests from Serbia, Ukraine, Russia, Croatia and BiH, who have held very successful and constructive sessions in the field of musicology, music pedagogy, music theory and performing arts – said Hart.

Zoran Komadina, one of the 26 presenters at the conference, spoke to the guests and students of the Music Academy about his father’s attitude to tradition and musical heritage.

The event also featured a very successful concert where soprano Claudia Krkotic and pianist Sonja Radojkovic promoted the compact disc “I ask for a pardon”, a vocal opus for voice and piano by Vojina Komadina.

In the final part of this cultural event, which was realized for the third year in a row, professors at the Music Academy Valentin Dutina and Ivana Cerović presented the author’s work, the book “Analytical presentation of a musical work through the prism and interaction of different musical dynamics”, prepared for about three years.
