American skier Ted Ligety is Olympic champion in giant slalom for the second time in his career, while B&H representative Marko Rudic come in in 49th place.
After two races, Rudic come in 14 seconds and 66 hundredths behind Ligety, his second run was better than the first and fixed his placement by four spots.
Rudic said he is happy with his results when considering the fact that the track was longer than the one he trained on and not in the best condition. His next race is on Saturday when he will compete in the slalom discipline.
